Agricultural systems across various regions face a widening gap between what land and water resources can deliver and what growing populations require. Blue Green Nexus was established to close that gap through scalable scientific solutions and good practices. Our precision agriculture practice brings together water management professionals, soil scientists, GIS and remote sensing specialists, and data scientists who translate field conditions into decisions that farmers and institutions can act on immediately. 

Government departments face a different but related challenge: how to extend evidence based agricultural and water management services to large farming populations without proportional increases in field staff. Blue Green Nexus builds the digital infrastructure that makes this possible. Our teams develop tools that apply satellite remote sensing and GIS to crop monitoring and crop health assessment, integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning into decision support systems, and support water ordering and indenting processes including digital warabandi (rotational plan) and abiana (water charges) systems that govern how canal water is allocated and billed. Sensor-based monitoring of natural resources, combined with weather forecasting products tailored to agricultural planning, gives departments the situational awareness needed to manage irrigation systems and farming advisories at scale. 

For individual farm operations

We work with corporate landholders above three hundred acres and large farmers managing between twenty-five and three hundred acres, groups for whom marginal improvements in input efficiency translate into significant financial return. Our approach draws on more than one hundred agronomic, hydrological, and climatic parameters calibrated to local soil, water, and weather conditions. This allows us to advise on soil improvement, crop and seed variety selection, fertilizer regimes, and irrigation scheduling that are specific to a given field rather than generalized from broad agronomic guidance. We extend this advisory role through the full production cycle, supporting supply chain planning and value addition so that productivity gains at the farm level are not lost at the point of sale.

Blue Green Nexus was founded by scientists with backgrounds in globally recognized water and agriculture research institutions, and that scientific discipline shapes every advisory product we deliver, from a single farm plan to a province wide monitoring system.
